Designed by sound. The design of the Peugeot Fractal concept was inspired by the new regulations which will be introduced in 2019, where the cars have to emit a signature sound. Peugeot teamed up with Amon Tobin and Focal speakers to create a customizable soundscape for the Fractal concept.
I somehow wish Peugeot (and other mainstream manufactures) would wake up and dare to be different and produce actual desirable, functional and fresh thinking cars, using sustainable materials, radical powertrains and explore new business models, instead of creating pure marketing driven concepts. If they’re unable to change, they’re bound to become irrelevant within a few years.
